"Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth, and teach me for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."
Psalms 25:4, 5, NIV

The Great Commission, given to us by our Lord and Savior as His last earthly message to us was:

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

Matthew 28:19, 20 NIV

Three things have to happen to bring souls into the Kingdom, and not one can be left out or set aside as being impertinent to God's holy plan. They are as relevant and equal in His plan and purpose for saving and nurturing the soul as the trinity is to God's plan and presence. Therefore, we preach the message, baptize the believer and begin a lifetime of teaching the discipline of the Sacred Word.

How do we bring all of this together on the mission field?
We build schools and hire Christian teachers.

Good Shepherd Ministries have seen thousands of children directly impacted with the gospel through their schools.

"As I have traveled around Haiti I have personally met graduates from Good Shepherd Ministries schools that are now serving as pastors, teachers, doctors, and government officials. These graduate students are maintaining strategic roles vital for the desperately needed changes in the country of Haiti"
Quote from Bill Younger the Executive Director of Good Shepherd Ministries

Jesus was a teacher. He taught in the Synagogue, on the mountainside, by the sea, and on the sea. His creation was his pulpit. He used parables, analogies, and comparisons to teach truths.

The Sermon on the Mount was a discourse by Jesus to teach us how to live, to shape attitudes, to teach the character and purpose of discipleship.

By providing these schools we have the opportunity to disciple these children with the hopes of seeing them surrender their lives to full time ministry. These graduates then become the seeds for the planting and development of churches for the future.

How do we finance the operation of our schools?
We have developed a program of sponsorship called:

SAC
Support A
Class

One Hundred seventy-five dollars a month will supply a teacher and some teaching materials for a classroom of students.

How to make it happen?
Seven people committing to giving $25 a month will support one classroom.
A family, a Sunday school Class, or a couple could sponsor a class by working together in such an effort.

Can you imagine the unspeakable joy in providing a year of education to a whole classroom of boys and girls?

We invite you to be a link in the Christian Education of these children. Please contact us and let us know what God is telling you.
